For as long as I can remember, I've been someone who needs to hold onto moments both extraordinary and mundane. Since childhood,  I've always had a disposable camera or a digital point and shoot camera with me at every event I attended from concerts to field trips to  sleepovers collecting each memory as it happened. This habit carried on throughout my adolescence and early young adult years but fell by the wayside a bit after I'd completed my graduate program. After receiving my masters in Women's Studies, I was working at a non-profit and part of my job was to photograph events and my passion for photography and capturing moments was reinvigorated. After some soul-searching, I asked for a real camera for Christmas shortly after I left that job and began taking photos seriously. I've been chasing this dream ever since.
